Prevent Child Abuse Council’s 2018 Pinwheel Campaign was a resounding success. Thank you all for helping PCA raise awareness that prevention of child abuse is something we can all do together to lighten the load. It does take a community working together to make a difference.
Thank you to all the volunteers, community supporters in business; service agencies, schools, faith groups, governmental entities and individuals, all making a difference. Approximately 10,000 pinwheels were distributed and displayed throughout Delaware County for the month of April!
Our community does take pride in reaching out and helping one another.The visual reminder does raise awareness that we all can do something to participate in the promise PCA makes to the children of our community that we are working together to make Delaware County a safe place for them to grow and flourish.
If you or your neighbor, employer or place of worship want to get on the 2019 PCA Pinwheel Garden Kit – Request List. please provide Name: email address and phone, organization and contact person – if not an individual request. You will be contacted by a PCA volunteer early next March 2019 with the necessary information regarding kit pick up. We have to order pinwheels for the coming year by September of 2018 so get on the list so we can make sure we will have enough pinwheels for your garden! *Kits are provided at no cost, however donations are encouraged (replacement costs are $35 *our lawn signs can be used year after year if stored as well as our pinwheels!).
